Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By registering as a SIM Dance Studio member, purchasing a package, or booking a class, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Membership

• Membership is open to anyone aged 4 and above. Dancers under 18 require parent or guardian registration.
• A one-time registration fee of RM80 applies (includes a studio T-shirt).
• Members are expected to follow studio rules, respect instructors and other dancers, and maintain a safe and inclusive environment.

3. Packages and credits

• Class credits are tied to the package you purchase and expire according to the validity period shown at checkout.
• Credits are non-transferable between members.
• Expired credits cannot be refunded or extended except at the studio's discretion for medical reasons (valid MC required).

4. Booking and cancellation

• Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis. You can book classes up to 1 hour before they start.
• Cancellations made more than 1 hour before class start time are free — your credit is refunded automatically.
• Cancellations within 1 hour of the class, or no-shows, forfeit the class credit.
• In rare cases where the studio cancels a class (instructor illness, emergencies, public holidays), all affected bookings are automatically refunded.

5. Pricing and payment

• All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and include applicable taxes.
• Packages must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
• Prices may change from time to time. Active packages are honoured at their original terms.

6. Refunds

Package purchases are generally non-refundable. Exceptions may be granted for:

• Medical reasons preventing dance (with a valid MC)
• Relocation more than 100 km from the studio
• Duplicate or accidental purchases reported within 7 days

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to hello@simdancestudio.com.

7. Health and safety

• Dancing involves physical activity and carries inherent risks. You participate at your own risk.
• Inform your instructor of any injuries, medical conditions, or pregnancy before class.
• SIM Dance Studio is not liable for personal injury or loss of belongings on studio premises.
• The studio reserves the right to refuse entry or ask a member to leave if behaviour endangers others.

8. Photography and media

We occasionally photograph and film classes, events, and showcases for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to such media being shared on our website and social channels. If you'd prefer not to be featured, tell us in advance and we'll accommodate you.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or WhatsApp to active members.
